<p>The organizers of the 29th Montreux Symposium on LC/MS thank you all for attending this conference.</p>
<p>We also would like to thank all speakers and presenters of posters who made a great scientific program possible with parallel sessions on Clinical Chemistry and Metabolomics.</p>

<p>The “Roland W. Frei” award was presented to Robert-Jan Raterink of Leiden University, Netherlands Metabolomics Centre, Div. Analytical BioSciences, Leiden, The Netherlands for his poster entitled: <em>3-Phase Electrextraction: A Novel (online) Sample Preparation Method for Bioanalysis</em>.</p>
<p>Springer book-vouchers were handed over to the best poster presenters in the field of Metabolomics to Reza Maleki Seifar, Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands for the poster: <em>Quantitative Analysis of Intracellular Metabolites using Ion Pair Reversed Phase Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry</em>; and in the field of Clinical Chemistry to Masoumeh Karimpour, Umeå University, Umeå, Sweden, for the poster: <em>LC/MS to Study Metabolite Profiles in Peripheral and More Proximal Regions of Healthy Lungs after Wood Smoke Exposure</em>.</p>
